Terms and Conditions

1. The purpose of Best of Friends (from now on, abbreviated to BoF) is to introduce members to each other with a view to friendship, romance and serious relationships.
2. All members must be over 18 years of age.
3. Membership commences from the date of registration, lasts for 6 months or longer (as decided by BoF) and is not transferable.
4. BoF reserves the right to refuse application for membership without giving a reason and to cancel without refund the membership of a member improperly using the service.
5. Every effort is made to accept only genuine applications, but BoF cannot guarantee the accuracy of details provided by members, nor can it be held responsible for the result of information provided, or of any introduction. The particulars provided should be verified by the individual member.
6. Prices and services may be changed at the discretion of BoF with 1 month's notice to members.
7. BoF reserves the right to apply a rule of 'reasonability' to the selection of a potential partner for a member, in addition to seeking a partner to suit their own specification. e.g. a man in his 40s seeking a lady in her 20s may also be offered a lady in her 30s/40s.
8. Members are expected to abide by BoF's Rules and Code of Conduct. In particular it is required that members have respect for one another, and for BoF. This includes being prepared and available to talk to other members when sent introductions, and not letting members down after agreeing to meet.
9. Any change of member's circumstances during their membership which may be relevant or of significance to BoF and/or it's members (e.g. becoming engaged or married, being convicted of a criminal offence, etc.) must be reported to BoF.
10. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made by BoF on behalf of members no guarantees are given regarding the numbers or quality of potential partners offered during the membership period.
11. Refunds Policy - If you notify us that you have changed your mind about being a member - (a) within 7 days of our receiving your application to join, we will refund your membership fee in full less £20.00 administration charge to cover costs incurred, or (b) after this 7 day period, and after we have begun to process your application, and provide you with our services, a proportion of your fee may be refunded at the discretion of BoF, taking into account the individual circumstances and the reasonable cost of services provided.
